Charity #BetYourWay: Aston Villa v West Ham football tips

We’ve brought together three Hammers fans from the We Are West Ham podcast who will provide #BetYourWay football tips for every West Ham game in the Premier League this season in an attempt to win money for a charity that is close to their hearts.

The podcast is run by three Hammers fans: Will Pugh, James Jones and Tom Edwards.

We will place a £50 bet on each of their selections, with all profits donated to the charity of their choice. This year, the lads will be donating to Isla’s Fight, DT38 and Bobby Moore Fund.

The We Are West Ham podcast was born out of a live Hammers radio show that James Jones and Will Pugh used to broadcast to the nation.

New boy Tom Edwards joined the team last season as We Are West Ham continue to deliver engaging features, well-connected journalists, and famous guests from East London and beyond. Come on you Irons.

On Wednesday night, West Ham travel to Birmingham to face Aston Villa. The Hammers will be looking to bounce back from Sunday’s disappointing defeat to Liverpool, but all three lads think it’ll be a wide-open game and a chance to get back to winning ways.

Will Pugh: Both teams to score, West Ham to score a header, over 5.5 total corners

Will says: “West Ham still look most dangerous from crosses and set-pieces and that’s where I think we’ll capitalise against Villa.”

James Jones: West Ham to win, both teams to score, Tomas Soucek to score anytime

James says: “We’ve bounced back from defeats well this season and, while Villa are going to be difficult opposition, I think we’ll have the right mentality to get the job done at Villa Park.”

Tom Edwards: Both teams to score, Jarrod Bowen to score anytime, a penalty to be awarded

Tom says: “Bowen has been in great form this season and I think he could be the difference between the two sides. Both teams will have chances, and I think both teams will find the back of the net.”
