Sydney Sixers to win
The Sixers recovered from an opening loss against Hobart to register a 145-run win over the Melbourne Renegades in their last match – the biggest margin of victory in BBL history.
The defending champions looked to have hit their stride in that match, and should beat a Strikers side that made hard work of their win over Hobart on Tuesday.
Alex Carey to score over 24.5 runs
Carey’s return was a welcome one for the Strikers, with the Australia international hitting a half-century to help them to that five-wicket win over the Hurricanes.
He has passed this mark in each of his last three innings in all formats for club and country.
James Vince to score over 23.5 runs
Vince struck a beautiful 67 in the Sixers’ opening loss before falling for 17 in their win over the Renegades.
The stylish Englishman is likely to be among the runs all season for the Sixers, and is a good bet to get back in form on Sunday.
Ben Dwarshuis to be Sixers’ top bowler
Dwarshuis has been Sydney’s best bowler so far in BBL 10, taking three wickets against the ‘Canes and four against the ‘Gades.
Those hauls were enough to see him win or share this market, and he is sure to be up there again at the Bellerive Oval.
