Is the Future Brighter for Esports Betting in 2021?

Statista valued the esports market in 2021 at over one billion USD, but many wonder if esports betting can achieve similar success this year.

Anyone not living under a rock would know how the coronavirus pandemic demolished the sports betting industry in 2020. As governments enforced strict lockdowns and quarantine protocols, many leagues, tournaments, and matches were either cancelled or delayed. And with the absence of sports betting, players found a new interest in esports betting.

Esports betting revenue projection

While the esports betting market had to share the said betting population with online casinos and virtual sports betting, there is no denying how much growth the esports betting market had predicted to reach last year. In fact, a research conducted by market researcher ProdegeMR and global consumer research agency 2CV found in 2020 that esports betting revenue for that same year could reach 14 billion USD, doubling its value from 2019’s 7 billion USD.

H2 Gambling Capital and iGB also released a report last year that predicted a 39-percent year-by-year growth to peak at 343 million USD for gross win in esports betting. Additionally, H2 shared its forecast that the esports betting market will have a 3.2-percent share of the global betting GGR by 2024. This eventually equates to a projected 862 million USD revenue for the esports betting market in 2024.

Esports betting platforms to choose in 2021

With that much revenue expected from the esports betting market, it is only logical that you know which platforms you should patronize to bet on esports with Bitcoin and fiat money.

Many online sportsbooks now offer esports betting as one of their products. But if you want to go hardcore, then you are better off joining the fun in betting platforms dedicated to esports. Yes, there are quite a few already on the market, and you will be surprised to see how esports betting is. But of course, this doesn’t mean that you shouldn’t bet on esports at online sports betting sites, whether with Bitcoin or fiat.

To help you get started, here are two esports betting platforms you should definitely check out:

Esports betting at GG.bet

When it comes to esports betting, there’s no reason you should overlook GG.bet. This betting platform has been around since 2016, and has since then been providing competitive odds on some of the most popular esports games even up to now.

Esports betting at GG.bet is a must-experience, especially if you want to get your hands on CSGO betting, LoL betting, and a whole lot more. Excited yet? Well, then you’d be delighted to know that you will find GG.bet odds for Dota 2, Call of Duty, Vainglory, Smite, Heroes of the Storm, Halo, and the list goes on.

Esports betting at Arcanebet

Chances are you’ve heard of Arcanebet if you’ve been on a search for some good-quality Bitcoin esports betting sites. Arcanebet is among the first few esports betting sites that welcome players who prefer to use Bitcoin. And over the years, it has grown to become a bigger betting platform for esports, sports, and casino games.
