IPL 2021 | Warner imitates long-time IPL rival from MI, leaves fans amused | See Pic-Australia opening batsman David Warner, who is known for his quirky behaviour off the field, on Monday took to social media to troll his long time rival from Mumbai Indians.

The swashbuckling batsman shared a picture of himself with long hairs, a familiar sight with Lasith Malinga. The latter has played a big role in the success of the IPL franchise that has most IPL titles—5.  He has retired ahead of the upcoming edition of the IPL –IPL 2021. The experienced campaigner was released by the blues army ahead of the mini-auctions on Feb 18.

The post has so far garnered over 400K+ views since shared on Instagram. Reacting to the post, a user wrote, “Warner + Malinga = WARNINGA.

The left-hander is quite active on social media and shares viral contents.  He has shared a number of funny videos since the pandemic and enjoys a fan following of 6 million on Instagram.

 

Warner will continue to lead Sunrisers Hyderabad in the upcoming edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL). They will eye to buy big players in the IPL 2021 auction to boost their squad. The live telecast of the auction will begin 2 pm onwards on Star Sports Network.
