JT Daniels injury update: Will Georgia quarterback play vs. South Carolina?

Georgia football fans will see JT Daniels play Between the Hedges for the first time this year.

After having been held out vs. UAB last week, Georgia football star quarterback JT Daniels will be making his triumphant return in front of Dawg Nation at Sanford Stadium on Saturday vs. South Carolina.

Daniels was a game-time decision last week vs. UAB, but head coach Kirby Smart said earlier in the week that his star quarterback was progressing each day from his injury. He hurt his oblique in Georgia’s narrow victory over the Clemson Tigers up in Charlotte Week 1. Stetson Bennett got the start last week vs. the Blazers and played his best game in Georgia uniform. He was amazing.

Here is the latest on the health of Georgia’s quarterback heading into the South Carolina game.

JT Daniels injury update: Georgia quarterback to start vs. South Carolina

Daniels did more work with in the pre-game warmups than he did last week ahead of the UAB game. Last week, he was rather limited in the pre-game before Bennett eventually got the start. While Georgia should have no problem putting away a rebuilding South Carolina team no matter who the quarterback is, Dawg Nation should be delighted to see its starting get back in there.

Anything short of a blowout victory over rebuilding South Carolina will be a huge disappointment.
