Rawlings is on their fifth iteration of the Color Sync glove line. This Heart of the Hide glove line replaces their classic red label with a color matched label to make some clean, and often times bolder, looks.
Rawlings dropped options for every position on the diamond and we are going to take a look at a few of our favorites.
This PRO314-2NW model is by far my favorite. Red, white, and blue always pair well together but this marries them in a beautiful way.
The two tone web, hand sewn welt, and those Rawlings patches are killer touches. This patriotic 11.5″ model is eye-catching with the white and navy contrast.
Rawlings has the guys on the mound covered with this Heart of the Hide PRO205-30CR.
Black and blonde is always a winning combo, especially with those hits of royal blue. Rawlings again added hand sewn welt to spice up this 11.75″ pitcher’s piece.
The PRO200 is one of Rawlings most popular patterns (see our Best SS Gloves post) due to its versatility. This glove is simple with just the right amount of color. This one can be had here for $280 form Rawlings.
The PRO303 from Rawlings is one of the most popular outfield patterns at the Big League level.
This glove stands out but doesn’t do it with flashy colors. A grey base contrasts well with the tan accents and the black crocodile embossed accents take this one up a notch.
The croc fingers sandwiched between the grey pointer and pinky finger is a clean look. The tan accents provide just a touch of classic to this lengthy 13″ outfield pattern. Like the rest, this can be had for $280.
Personally, I’m a big fan of this line. There are some great flashy options and a few more classic color combos. Those three in particular caught my eye, but here’s a few more notables:
PRO234-2CB – That two-tone I-Web is money.
