Raptors head coach Nick Nurse is familiar with what Birch brings to the table thanks to the pair’s work with the Canadian men’s national team at the 2019 FIBA World Cup. Birch raved about Nurse’s coaching style, so perhaps the Raptors can unlock another gear in the four-year veteran’s game.
