Terry Francona: ‘No one has deliberately covered up’ allegations against Mickey Callaway

The Athletic dropped another bombshell report regarding former Cleveland Indians pitching coach and former New York Mets manager Mickey Callaway on Tuesday and said that Cleveland team president Chris Antonetti, general manager Mike Chernoff and manager Terry Francona addressed Callaway’s alleged sexually inappropriate behavior in 2017 even though Antonetti said on Feb. 4: “There had never been any complaints against Mickey in his time with us, either to me or to our human resources department or other leaders.” 

Most recently, Callaway was serving as the active Los Angeles Angels pitching coach until that club suspended him in early February amid allegations of inappropriate behavior from at least five women who work in sports media.
