VanVleet, Siakam, Anunoby among Raptors out due to health and safety protocols

As the Toronto Raptors navigate the impact of COVID-19 on their season, the team announced it would be without Fred VanVleet, Pascal Siakam, OG Anunoby, Malachi Flynn and Patrick McCaw for the time being due to the league’s health and safety protocols.

The Raptors are scheduled to play the Detroit Pistons on Wednesday after having their past two games postponed, and playing one game without multiple members of their coaching staff due to said protocols.

Head coach Nick Nurse and a number of member of his coaching staff remain sidelined.

The team has called up Jalen Harris and Donta Hall from the Raptors 905 to mitigate the absences.

More to come…
