SEC Player of the Week – Tennessee’s Kiki Milloy, a sophomore outfielder from Woodinville, Wash., batted .615 with eight hits (including four home runs), eight runs scored and eight RBI at the Reveille Classic this past weekend. Milloy began the tournament with a pair of home runs, a career-high five RBI, two stolen bases and a walk against Campbell. She also recorded four runs against the Camels, which puts her in a tie for second place for most runs scored in a single game in program history.
SEC Pitcher of the Week – Florida’s Elizabeth Hightower, a junior right-hander from Monticello, Fla., registered two wins in the circle for the Gators this past week and held her opponents to a .057 batting average. Hightower came in relief against New Mexico State, retiring 12 of the next 14 batters without giving up a hit. She then threw her second complete-game one-hit shutout of the season and third of her career in the win over No. 16 Florida State on March 5.
SEC Freshman of the Week – Auburn’s Shelby Lowe, a freshman left-handed pitcher from Carrollton, Ala., went 3-0 in the circle for the Tigers at the Auburn Invitational. Lowe struck out 11 batters in the complete-game performance over Southern Miss. On the week, she held her opponents to a .167 batting average and struck out 26 in 15.1 innings of work.
